Nicole R. Hanson formed Hanson Law Firm, LLC with the intention of providing a more personal experience for clients involved in family law matters. Having focused her career in domestic relations law, she has the experience necessary to deliver highly competent, proactive and diligent representation to her clients. With the benefit of a small law firm setting, clients of the Hanson Law Firm are assured to receive attentive legal services that are specifically tailored to their individual needs.
Nicole began her legal career working as a Deputy District Attorney for the 4th Judicial District in Colorado Springs, where she gained valuable trial advocacy skills and developed a knowledge base in the area of domestic violence. In 2007 she began her career in domestic relations law as an associate attorney for the law firm of Samuel J. Stoorman & Associates. Nicole later became a partner in the firm Stoorman, Hanson & van der Valk, P.C.
Over the last 16 years, Nicole has gained valuable experience in all phases of litigation in domestic relations. She is a strong advocate for her clients both in court and in dispute resolution/settlement negotiations.
Nicole makes every effort to get to know clients and their goals and expectations. She understands the stress and financial toll that comes with protracted litigation; thus, her focus for her clients is to achieve their goals through the most efficient and cost-effective means available.
